What Happened
According to the Princeton Police Department, officers responded at about 1:45 PM on November 18 to reports of a vehicle crash in the 8000 block of County Road 398 outside Harper Elementary.
Bystanders were already attempting to assist the driver when officers arrived. The man, who has not yet been publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police reports state the driver lost control of the vehicle prior to impact.
Impact to School Grounds
The collision struck seven parked and unoccupied cars. Debris from the crash reached the school building and shattered a cafeteria window.
Two individuals inside the cafeteria were evaluated as a precaution. Both were cleared with no injuries.
No students or staff were near the parked vehicles when the crash occurred. No additional injuries were reported.
