Update (Oct. 27): Tonight’s City Council meeting was canceled, so no action was taken on any agenda items.
One item that had been scheduled for consideration was Resolution No. 2025-10-27-R07, which would allocate up to $4,350,115 from the voter-approved November 2023 $109.1 million Parks & Recreation Bond.
The funding would support construction of three multi-purpose synthetic turf fields at J.M. Caldwell Sr. Community Park.
Project Overview
The proposal would replace three existing grass multi-use fields with synthetic turf surfaces along with related site improvements.
